Hedge End Bobbin Lacemakers is a friendly group who meet once a week in term time on a Wednesday evening in Shedfield. We welcome lacemakers of all abilities and for those who wish to learn a new craft we can provide all the materials for minimal cost, to allow you to decide if you like it or not.
We have a class with a mixture of lace preferences, i.e. contemporary and traditional. We go on visits to exhibitions, lace days in Buckinghamshire - the home of black lace - and each year we take a break away to just do lace!
A class for Beginners, but all abilities are welcome, will be starting on a Monday afternoon in September. Anyone interested should use the contact form on this website to make contact with Amanda, the class Tutor.

Do join us at our last meeting before Christmas. There will be a few mini workshops - quick craft ideas to try. There may also be mince pies.
If you wish to learn bobbin lacemaking, or return after a long break, our members are very happy to help get you started (or restarted!). Please use the Contact Form to let us know you are interested.
